Samsung is adding another Exynos chip in its already robust chipset portfolio with the Exynos 880. The highlight of this processor is that it has a 5G modem and ‘AI capabilities' for non-premium smartphones. This might also prove to be an important 5G processor for Samsung since we could see it coming in several mid-range handsets in the coming months.

“Capable of supporting 5G's sub-6GHz, the Exynos 880 offers an upload speed of 1.28Gbps, and a download speed of 2.55Gbps that can be lifted to 3.55Gpbs with E-UTRA-NR Dual Connectivity that combines 5G and LTE capabilities,” says Samsung.
