Samsung Galaxy A52 inches closer to launch, key specifications leaked

Here is what you can expect from Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A52 mid-range phone.

The front houses a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The phone has a 40-megapixel sensor here. The cutout is quite identical to some of the recent Galaxy phones including the Note 20 Ultra. (HT)

Apart from Galaxy A72, Samsung is also reportedly planning to launch Galaxy A52 very soon. Already the two phones have been part of multiple leaks, hinting at the imminent release.

So far, Samsung Galaxy A52 and its different versions have appeared on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi certifications, reports Sammobile. The model numbers SM-A5260, SM-A526B, and SM-A526N, bagged the certification on the Wi-Fi Alliance. The listing revealed the phone comes with dual-band Wi-Fi 5 and runs on Android 11. The phone will also reportedly come with Bluetooth 5.0 with support for LE.

The latest listing comes days after the phone was spotted on the 3C certification site. The previous listing revealed the phone comes with 15W fast charging. There will be two versions of the phone, one with 5G and the other one with 4G. The LTE version will run on Snapdragon 720G chip. The 5G variant will offer Snapdragon 750G processor.

As far as specifications go, Samsung Galaxy A52 will come with a 6.5-inch display. It will also come with an in-display fingerprint reader as well as an Infinity-O cutout. The handset will also house USB Type-C port and headphone jack.

On the back, it is said to come with a quad-rear camera setup that will consist of a 64-megapixel primary sensor, 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, 5-megapixel depth sensor, and a 5-megapixel macro sensor.

Samsung Galaxy A72 is also inching closer to an official launch. The phone is said to come with 25W fast charging support. Just like the A52, it will also have 5G and 4G versions. The handset will reportedly feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a punch-hole design. It will come with a 64MP + 12MP + 5MP + 5MP camera setup at the back.
