Samsung is working on a new Galaxy F phone
Dubbed as Galaxy F12 or F12s, the new Samsung Galaxy F series phone will most likely be an entry-level phone.
Samsung is working on a new smartphone under its Galaxy F-series, reports Sammobile.
According to the report, the next Galaxy F phone is most likely an entry-level smartphone. Featuring model number SM-F127G, the phone could launch as Galaxy F12 or Galaxy F12s. As of now, other details such as pricing, key specifications, and availability are not known.
The report comes shortly after Samsung introduced Galaxy F41 in India. The smartphone, first in the brand-new series, is available for a starting price of ₹16,999. Interestingly enough, Galaxy F41 is said to be the re-branded version of Galaxy M31 with a few alterations.
Samsung Galaxy F41 features a 6.4-inch full HD+ Infinity U display with an sAMOLED panel. The phone comes with a 64-megapixel primary sensor on the back. The rear camera panel also houses an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 5-megapixel depth lens. It has a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. Some of its camera features include Single Take, 4K video recording, and live focus.
For performance, Samsung Galaxy F41 has Exynos 9611 octa-core processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB built-in storage. The phone also supports additional storage up to 512GB via a microSD card. It is powered by a 6,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.
It has a rear fingerprint sensor and also supports face unlock. On the software front, it runs on Android 10 out-of-the-box with OneUI Core on top. Samsung Galaxy F41 is available in Fusion Black, Fusion Blue, and Fusion Green colour options. Connectivity options on the Galaxy F41 include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
