So, what you will see here are feeds that are popular and have a siezable number of comments and likes. Other posts can be seen under the Live Feeds section which is still real-time.

There has been a hue and cry over the current changes on the homepage. According to Facebook, the design changes came after a decent amount of feedback from existing users and represent the larger voice of Facebook users, which wanted this system.

Other noticeable updates include the new progress bar under a profile picture. This one lets you know how active your friend is on Facebook. This is apart from the twitter-like @tag that had been recently introduced.
