Google is partying its own way this New Year’s Eve, asks you to join

This New Year’s Eve party will premiere at 11pm IST on December 31 on the video sharing platform and will include performances from celebrities such as actor Tiger Shroff, rapper Badshah and singer Jonita Gandhi. The virtual party will also be hosted by comedian, Zakir Khan.

Since most of us are sitting at homes and are using Internet for work and media consumption more than ever, Google is trying to cash-in on this opportunity with the ‘Hello 2021 India' virtual party on YouTube. 

This New Year's Eve party will premiere at 11pm IST on December 31 on the video sharing platform and will include performances from celebrities such as actor Tiger Shroff, rapper Badshah and singer Jonita Gandhi. The virtual party will also be hosted by comedian, Zakir Khan.

You can access the YouTube video and put a reminder right now by opening a fresh Google search page and tapping on the link that says, “Hello 2021: Join YouTube's New Year's Eve party tomorrow.”

The New Year's Eve party is presented by YouTube Originals and will also include some other performances from Astha Gil, Benny Dayal and music band tech Thaikkudam Bridge. It's worth mentioning that the live chat for the event has already started on the YouTube video.

In addition to ‘Hello 2021 India' virtual party, Google has also launched a party popper icon to celebrate the New Year via is its search web page. When you type in ‘New Year's Eve' on Google search bar, you will see blue and yellow party popper and confetti filling the screen for a few seconds. It will also emit the popping sound. You can click on the party popper as many times as you want, to see your screen filled with confetti.
