The James Webb telescope launch will be broadcasted LIVE across the world by NASA. The best part? Space geeks and astronomers in India will be able to catch the launch in earthly hours. The launch is scheduled for 7:20am EST, which means India can witness it 5:50pm in the evening.
James Webb telescope launch: Where to watch it?
NASA will be broadcasting the launch live on its YouTube page. The broadcast will begin from 4:30pm in India and if it all goes right, the countdown will come to zero at 5:50pm IST; the moment where the Ariane 5 rocket fires it engines and off goes the James Webb telescope into the space.

James Webb telescope post-launch plans
Once the James Webb telescope lifts off at 5:50pm IST, it will head on to the amin stage separation after 9 minutes, the upper stage separation after 27 minutes, and the deployment of the solar array after 33 minutes since lift-off.
In the next few days, NASA will keep doing course corrections as well as deploying and testing every aspect of the spacecraft. The crucial ones will involve deploying the mirrors and the Sunshield over the course of the next few days.
13 days from today, the James Webb telescope will be fully deployed in the space. NASA will continue testing mirror adjustments and do the orbit insertion burn. And after almost a month, the orbit insertion will be complete and the James Webb telescope will be at our service.
