US-based handset-maker Motorola, which was recently acquired by Chinese electornics giant Lenovo, is expected to unveil the second edition of its Moto 360 smartwatch in India on December 1. The device was unveiled at the annual consumer electronics trade show, IFA 2015, in Berlin in September.

The second-generation of the smartwatch, which comes at a starting price of $299 (roughly 19,800), and goes up to $429 (roughly 28,400) depending on the size of case and type of band, has variants for both men and women. While men have the choice of two band lengths (20mm and 22mm), women have only a single option of 16mm band length.

The water and dust-resistant device, which supports wireless charging, can automatically adjust to the surrounding brightness using its ambient light sensor and also comes with an optical heart rate monitor.

Other features on the smartwatch includes a maximum display size of 1.56 inches protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The watch is powered by a quad-core 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and 512MB RAM. Consumers will have to stick to 4GB internal storage as there is no expandable memory slot.

While the men's version of the watch comes with 400 mAH battery, the women's version comes with 300mAH unit. The watch will come with other connectivity features like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
