American technology giant Microsoft has rolled out the promised service of Skype 'group video call' in iOS and Android on Saturday.

The software giant will start enabling the option on Skype accounts in Europe and the US today.

The company expects to complete the roll out over the next week, although the feature would be available worldwide in March only, The Verge reported.

An individual can now add up to 25 people to participate simultaneously in a video call, with the person making the call displayed prominently in the centre.
