Bean there, done that: Samsung says their next earbuds will not look like beans
Samsung's Galaxy Buds Live drew a lot of mixed reactions for looking like, well, beans. Many even changed its name to Galaxy Beans. While all that was is good fun and jest, it looks like Samsung's quite had it with the design, and perhaps the jokes, and have said that their next generation TWS earbuds will not look like beans.
The upcoming TWS earbuds from Samsung, according to listings spotted on the Indonesian telecommunications certification website, will be called the Galaxy Buds Pro. And according to reports, their look will be inspired by the older earbuds from the company.
The Galaxy Buds Pro might look “identical” to the Galaxy Buds Plus if the renders posted by SamMobile are anything to go by. So it looks like the major upgrades Samsung might have planned for the Galaxy Buds Pro could be better ambient mode and active noise cancellation (ANC).

With the Samsung Galaxy Buds Live, the in-ear fit was quite an issue because we found in our review that the experience relied heavily on the user being able to fit in the bud right. Samsung even shared a video about how to wear the buds right.
The obvious issue with the fit made the ANC feature only partially effective and Samsung could be looking to remedy that with the Galaxy Buds Pro (re)design. The Galaxy Buds Pro will be looking to offer a better in-ear ‘seal' to make the features on the buds work better.
Giving credit where it's due, the Samsung Galaxy Buds Live had a quirky, experimental design but it failed to offer the top-of-the-class music experience that they should have delivered.
Also, the Galaxy Buds Pro will be going up against the new Apple AirPods Pro so Samsung has a lot riding on this.
The Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro are possibly going to launch alongside the Galaxy S21 flagships next year.
