Call of Duty Mobile’s new season is here. Developers Activision has begun showing in-app notifications to users to confirm the new launch date. The Call of Duty Mobile Season 7 is rolling out on June 12, according to the notification. Already, CoD Mobile players are receiving notifications about the existing season coming to an end very soon.
It may be recalled that Activision had scheduled to roll out the new season much earlier. The company, however, delayed the roll-out in solidarity with protests over George Floyd’s death in the US.
Not just Call of Duty Mobile, developers had delayed the new seasons for Call of Duty Modern Warfare and Call of Duty Warzone as well.
“While we look forward to playing the new seasons of Modern Warfare, Warzone, and Call of Duty Mobile, now is not the time. We are moving the launches of Modern Warfare Season 4 and Call of Duty: Mobile Season 7 to later dates. Right now it's time for those speaking up for equality, justice, and change to be seen and heard. We stand alongside you,” Call of Duty devs had said.
That said, Call of Duty Mobile’s Season 7 is set to bring a host of new features. According to reports, the new update will bring a separate training mode. We’ve already come across reports of a new map for the battle royale players.
CoD Mobile developers are expected to officially announce the update as well. The announcement is expected to feature full patch notes, improvements, and more.
