FIFA 2021 announced: Release date, availability, price and everything else

Electronic Arts’ Play Live 2020 online event was not just about Star Wars: Squadron, we also got a peek into the upcoming FIFA title as well. Alongside this, the game developer revealed the release date for FIFA 2021. 

FIFA 2021 will be available starting October 9 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. It will also be up on Steam at a later date. In addition, as one can expect, FIFA 2021 will be coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X as well.

You can pre-order FIFA 2021 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One or PC, including a limited time offer wherein you get untradeable FIFA 21 Ultimate Team (FUT) Ones to Watch player for your FUT squad when you pre-order the FIFA 21 Ultimate Edition before August 14.

EA has also introduced something called ‘Dual Entitlement’ for FIFA 21. If you opt for it, you won’t have to buy FIFA 21 twice when you move from PS4 to PS5 or Xbox One to Xbox Series One. And all this will be without additional costs. All you have to do is to make sure you download FIFA 21 on your new console before the arrival of FIFA 22. What’s more is that both digital and physical copies of FIFA 21 will include Digital Entitlement.

That aside, if you want to be among the first to play FIFA 21, you can as an EA Access member on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and Origin Access member on PC. The early trial will begin from October 1. You can also get a 10% discount on EA digital purchases including FIFA 21, FIFA points, and other games and content.

FIFA 21 Standard Edition includes up to 3 rare FUT gold packs, cover star loan item, FUT ambassador player pick and special edition FUT kits and stadium items. This is priced at ₹3,999.

FIFA 21 Champion Edition gives you 3 days Early Access, Up to 12 FUT 21 Rare Gold Packs, 1 Cover Star Loan FUT Item, Career Mode Homegrown Talent, 1 FUT Ambassador Loan Player Pick Item, Special Edition FUT kits and stadium items. This costs ₹5,499

FIFA 21 Ultimate Edition gets you untradeable FUT 21 Ones To Watch Item, 3 days Early Access, Career Mode Homegrown Talent, Up to 24 FUT 21 Rare Gold Packs, 1 Cover Star Loan FUT Item, 1 FUT Ambassador Loan Player Pick Item, Special Edition FUT kits and stadium items. And this will cost ₹6,499.
