Fortnite Rift Tour: How to get the Ariana Grande skin and watch her in-game concert for free in India

Popular battle royale game Fortnite is back with another virtual concert that will take place in the game itself over the weekend. The pop star that will be making her debut on the app is none other than Ariana Grande. The game’s popular Rift Tour has added additional content to the game to download and Fortnite users will be able to jump in for free when the concert begins featuring popular tracks from the singer. According to a report from Forbes, the singer could rake in over $20 million from the virtual concert, which is what singer Travis Scott reportedly earned from the previous in-game mega-concert.

While the Rift Tour event and concerts will be free to attend, keep in mind that Epic Games live virtual events have limited seats, and this means that gamers will need to be prepared in advance to jump into the event. The developers suggest that players be in the game and ready to join, so being there 30-40 minutes in advance should be good enough.

How to get the Rift Tour content and the new Ariana Grande skin on Fortnite

Fortnite is a free-to-play game, but content can be purchased inside the game using virtual currency called V-Bucks. The new Ariana Grande skin has now made its way to the Fortnite Store and can be purchased using V-Bucks. However, Epic Games is also making other content available as part of the Rift Tour content, such as Ariana Grande Outfit w/ Rift Goddess Ariana Variant, a Piggy Smallz Back Bling, a LIl’ Floaticorn Emote, Sweetener Sailshards Glider, 7 Rings Smasher Pickaxe w/ Gem Striker Variant, and much more. Games can also complete in-game quests in the Rift Tour tab (before the event) to unlock rewards such as the Cosmic Cuddles Loading Screen, Rift-sterpiece Spray, & Cloudy Kitty Emoticon.

How to watch the Rift Tour with Ariana Grande in India

Fortnite’s Rift Tour game will feature five events that will take place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the US, but the days will vary given the time difference in India. The first event will begin on Saturday morning at 3:30 AM IST, while the second event will be held at 11:30 PM the same day. On Sunday, gamers can tune in to the concert at 9:30 AM IST, and again for the fourth event at 7:30 PM the same day. The last event will be held on Monday morning at 3:30 AM IST. Fortnite players who attend the Rift Tour will also receive the Cuddly Cloudcruiser commemorative umbrella.
