Xiaomi has just announced the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum - Mop 2 Pro for India! Coming in as the successor to the Robot vacuum Cleaner with mop function from two years ago, the new model promises better cleaning with a faster cleaning blade as well as larger battery for being able to clean for long durations. The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum - Mop 2 Pro will be selling in India at a price of Rs. 29,999 on Amazon.in and Xiaomi’s retail chain. However, as part of an introductory offer, the price is set at Rs. 25,999 until July 24.

The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum - Mop 2 Pro, as the name suggests, features the ability to do vacuum cleaning as well as mopping functions. You only get it in black in India. It also gets a laser based guidance system to map the interiors of your house and guide its way around obstacles easily.

A new high-frequency sonic vibration mop with 10,000 vibrations/min promises better cleaning power. Consumers can choose vacuum, mop only or a 2-in-1 mode.

The cleaner also gets an LDS SLAM Navigation for that scans and maps the complex environment of the home and plan the cleaning route, even in low light conditions. The mop also gets microfibres that promise effective removal of stains and quick drying for the floor.

The new model also gets a bigger 5200mAh battery that Xiaomi says clean areas of more than 2000 sq ft. easily with up to 170-minute run time. Additionally, users can choose the order for cleaning the bedroom, living room and kitchen separately. You also adjust the suction power and water volume based on the type of floor and set customized cleaning plans.

The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum-Mop 2 Pro also supports remote control from the Xiaomi Home App. Users can customize cleaning schedules, adjust cleaning modes and water levels, track device location and more. The device is also compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa for home automation.
