Visual Intelligence: Apple is bringing a Google Lens-like feature which has the ability to analyse the object for view placed in front of the camera and provide users with relevant information. iPhone users can also use this feature to scan documents, copy and paste text, and more with the help of Apple Intelligence. This feature is currently observed in the iOS 18.2 beta version. Smarter Siri: With iOS 18.2, Siri is expected to get a major upgrade due to the integration of Apple Intelligence. Siri will have advanced capabilities such as an enhanced knowledge base, natural language understanding, contextual awareness, voice recognition, and more. This upgrade aims to provide users with a more personalised experience along with users having human-like conversations with the voice assistant. Genmoji and Image Playground: For users to have a personalised experience, Apple is bringing the Gemoji and Image Playground app to iPhones. The Genmoji feature will allow users to generate custom emoticons with text-based prompts. Whereas, the Image Playground is text to image generation tool which allows users to be creative and generate images based on text prompts. ChatGPT integration: Another big iOS 18.2 update feature is Siri getting ChatGPT integration for users to advanced language capabilities. iPhone users can carry out complex tasks such as image generation, document understanding, and much more. Apple also ensures that the responses would be end-to-end encrypted. Image Wand: Lastly, Apple is rumoured to bring Sketch to image feature to iPhone with iOS 18.2. This feature is expected to work similarly to Galaxy AI’s Sketch to image feature that allows users to generate several kinds of images based on rough sketches made by the users.
