The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra is a clamshell flip smartphone that comes with a Teardrop Hinge, making the device lightweight. Half of the smartphone’s back panel features a vegan leather back and the other half has a 4-inch display which also includes dual rear camera sensors. The smartphone was announced in three colour options: Peach Fuzz, Spring Green, and Midnight Blue. Additionally, it is also IPX8 water-resistant.In terms of display, the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra comes with two separate displays, one which features on the front and the other is the 6.9-inch foldable FHD+ pOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate and offers up to 3000nits of peak brightness. For performance and effective multitasking, the Razr 50 Ultra is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset paired with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The processor enables the device to perform AI and machine learning-based tasks which can be accessed via Google’s Gemini and Moto AI. Its AI features include Gemini access on cover display, Adaptive Stabilization, Magic Canvas, Style Sync, and more.
The smartphone is also backed with a 4000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. From a photography perspective, the Razr 50 Ultra features a dual-camera set-up that includes a 50MP main camera with f/1.7 aperture along with a 50MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. On the front, the smartphone features a 32MP front camera which is housed on the foldable display.
In terms of software, the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra runs on Hello UI based on Android 14. With the new generation of flip smartphones, the company has announced several customisation features for the cover display, allowing users to add any app, animation, text, etc.
