Oculus Rift has remained mum on the specs of their virtual reality headsets, yet CEO Brendan Iribe announced a price of $1,500 per unit at the Code Conference in California in the US on Wednesday.
Higher than previously estimated, the price would include the PC that's necessary to operate the headset, according to the Verge.
At the Code Conference, Iribe hinted that an even more expensive version of the headset would become available for a richer experience.
The headsets are expected to ship early next year, the company announced earlier this month.
