Chingari partners with NH Studioz to launch Chingari Multiplex

Short video sharing platform Chingari on Saturday announced its license agreement with NH Studioz. Apart from announcing its partnership with the leading content house, the company also announced the launch of the Chingari Multiplex.

To give you a quick brief about Chingari Multiplex, it is essentially a brand new OTT platform launched by Chingari wherein users will be able to watch their favourite Indian movies. It will be separate from Chingari, which is a social media platform.

The social media platform will launch its brand new OTT platform on October 11. The company aims to pay a special tribute to the Indian cinema by launching its movie-screening service on the birthday of legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan. Chingari said that it will be screening a free pack of Amitabh Bacchan’s all-time hits like ‘Hum’, ‘Shaan’, ‘Lal Badshah’, ‘Sarkar’, ‘Kohram’ and many more on the occasion on Chingari Multiplex.

It is worth mentioning that the development comes shortly after the short video-sharing app registered over 30 million downloads within three months of its launch. It also follows the rollout of new Augmented Reality (AR) based filters on its platform.
