The topics that dominated Facebook this year aren’t surprising: Prime Minister Narendra Modi tops the list, followed by ‘e-commerce boom’, and the late Dr. Kalam, who passed away in July claims the third spot, according to data released by Facebook.

The topics that dominated Facebook this year aren't surprising: Prime Minister Narendra Modi tops the list, followed by 'e-commerce boom', and the late Dr. Kalam, who passed away in July claims the third spot, according to data released by Facebook.

Across the world, the US Presidential elections, the Paris attacks, and the Syrian Civil War were the topics that generated the highest amount of engagement on the social network.
