Google Chrome will now let you take screenshots in incognito mode

Google Chrome’s incognito mode is for those who are wary about their privacy and also for those who need to access something like TweetDeck for three separate accounts. 

The incognito mode on Chrome, in case you were not aware and have never ever used it, allows you to surf the web in a private session that prevents sites from accessing local cookies and also removes all temporary data once you are done.

And of course, all of this is quite useful. However, you were not allowed to take screenshots while on incognito mode and that’s all set to change.

A thread in Chromium’s reported bugs, reported by Android Police, shows that the developers are looking to fix this issue. But since the process works on an “external dependency”, Google will first add a flag to grant the ability to take screenshots while using incognito mode. You will have to enable this flag manually before this works till Google fixes this issue fully.

This helps in situations where you might have used incognito mode while browsing content, or used it while using someone else’s device in an emergency case, but had to take a screenshot.

There is not intication as to exactly when this feature is going to roll out but it looks like it might take a few weeks for developers to fix that “external dependency” issue. However, new flags should roll out in the meantime.
