Google Maps for mobile has rolled out changes to make life easier for cyclists.
Fans of the two-wheeler will no doubt be delighted with the updates, which, according to Android Police, include elevation charts detailing any hills en route.
The app now even includes 'elevation comparison' for multiple routes, making it easy for riders to choose the steepest (or flattest) option depending on their preferences.
Other updates include voice actions in navigation mode and new icons, according to the site.
The news comes as Dutch start-up Cyclodeo, nicknamed 'Street View for cyclists' rolled out over 200 km of footage of cycle routes in Berlin.
The site lets users preview cycle paths all over the world featuring coverage of thousands of miles of route from San Francisco, London, New York, Amsterdam, Eindhoven and Copenhagen, thanks to a combination of map technology and video footage recorded from cyclists' helmets which is then uploaded online.
