Hike on Thursday announced that its HikeLand is now out of early preview. The mobile-focused virtual platform has also been updated with new experiences and upgrades across HikeLand Home and HikeMoji.
Hike said that the platform registered an early adoption with time spent inside HikeLand at a daily average of 50 minutes. The company has also rolled out an ad-free Ludo game for HikeLand users. The new update also includes HikeMoji & expanded HikeLand Home to connect with more users. Here, users can add up to three friends to their home. They can also communicate through group voice calls. The UI has also been revamped to give a front-facing view of the virtual world.

Apart from a new ad-free Ludo game, Hike’s full-body HikeMoji represents the diverse Indian demographic.
“The attention to detail that went into designing the full-body HikeMoji is reflected in 40 individual pieces added to complete the full HikeMoji look. Full-body HikeMoji also comes with a huge wardrobe to choose from across Indian, western, simple, premium, sports, lounge, superheroes amongst other categories,” said the company in a release.

Hike had unveiled HikeLand in June this year. Essentially a virtual world, HikeLand comes with multiple environments. In the Home virtual environment, users can invite their friends to hang out and watch videos together. Another environment, called Big Screen, allows users to watch videos with others. The videos are available 24x7. In this environment, a user can ping others in the theatre as well.
