Intex launches its first smart fitness band in India

Indian smartphone manufacturer Intex has launched its first fitness wearable in India called FitRist. Priced at 999, the fitness smart band will be exclusively available on Snapdeal in White and Dark Blue colour options.

The FitRist band comes with an 0.86-inch OLED display and will compatible with Android 4.3 and above along with iOS 7 and above. The company claims that the band is water-resistant and can offer up to 12 days of battery life.

The Bluetooth compatible FitRist is capable of providing notifications for incoming calls, messages and emails. It also allows users to control their smartphone's camera from the band itself. Just like other fitness wearables in the market, FitRist keeps a track of your sleep, calorie count and distance travelled.
