Realme U1 will go on its first sale on December 5 exclusively via Amazon India.
Realme U1 starts at ₹11,999 for the base model with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. It will also come with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage which will retail at ₹14,499.
Realme case will be priced at ₹499, and the Realme Buds will also retail at ₹499.
Realme also launched new accessories for the Realme U1 starting with a phone case in black and yellow colours. Realme also launched ‘Realme Buds’ which is made of Kevlar fibre.
Realme U1 features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display with dewdrop notch. The rear panel of the Realme U1 has a grating effect at the rear. It comes in three colour options of black, blue and gold.
Realme U1 comes with support for slow motion videos at 90 frames per second. This feature will also come to Realme 2 Pro by the end of this year.
Realme U1 features a gaming mode which will allow users to play games and reply to messages at the same time. Notifications on the Realme U1 will appear as floating messages on the smartphone while gaming.
MediaTek’s Helio P70 chipset features an AI engine offering CPU and GPU upgrades.

Realme U1 is expected to be priced between ₹10,000 and ₹15,000. Realme 2 Pro is the company’s most expensive smartphone till date going up to ₹17,990 for the high-end variant with 128GB.
The landing page for Realme U1 on Amazon India highlights the dewdrop notch. The smartphone is expected to feature a Realme 2 Pro-like design with a dewdrop notch on top.
Realme has already confirmed that its new smartphone will be powered by MediaTek’s Helio P70 chipset. The new Helio P70 chipset comes with an enhanced AI engine combined with CPU and GPU upgrades.The new GPU on the P70 is claimed to deliver 13% better performance than the Helio P60. For photography, Helio P70 supports up to 32-megapixel and dual 24-megapixel plus 16-megapixel cameras.
Realme’s upcoming smartphone will come selfie-focused features as highlighted in its teasers. Realme U1 will offer group selfie along with better optimisations for low-light selfies. Realme has shared some camera samples captured from the Realme U1.
