Realme on Wednesday launched its new ‘U’ series of smartphones in India. Realme U1 is the first smartphone in the series which is focused on the selfie camera.Realme U1 is priced at ₹11,999 for the 3GB RAM+32GB variant, and ₹14,499 for the 4GB RAM+64GB variant. Its first sale will take place on December 5 exclusively via Amazon India.Realme U1 features a 25-megapixel AI-based selfie camera with a Sony IMX 576 sensor. It is powered by MediaTek’s new Helio P70 chipset. Realme U1 competes against the recently launched Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro which offers a quad-camera setup, Snapdragon 636 SoC, and a 4,000mAh battery.
