Samsung announces ‘Back to Business’ solutions, partners with Cisco and Logitech

Samsung today launched its ‘Back to Business’ solutions for retail and commercial purposes. The solution includes a list of products such as outdoor displays and video conferencing solutions in order to let you work easily with all the safety measures intact during remote working situations.

“The new range of intelligent outdoor display and signage boards can be used by businesses for crowd monitoring, body temperature measurement, and mask detection as well as for displaying offers of the day and corporate messages, ensuring all social distancing protocols are followed,” says the firm.

Samsung says it has also collaborated with CISCO Webex and Logitech to offer these meeting room and video conferencing solutions. This results in bringing a display line up including digital signage and desktop monitors. The firm’s entire range of 2020 display line up is compatible with these solutions.

Display solutions

The Samsung Entrance Solution offers people-counting capability and access control. This lets only permitted number of individuals to enter the store or building and maintain social distancing. It also includes a camera with Magic INFO Solution that helps user create, schedule and play content across signage network.

The Social Safety Signage Solution includes businesses with various features including body temperature measurement mask detection, social distancing and traffic control. This comes in addition to crowd monitoring details that can be accessed via mobile app support and smart access.

Standalone Display comes with a slim, contemporary design and has a clear visibility even in bright sunlight. It also allows the users to push the desired content from any remote location with the help of built-in Magic INFO Solution.

CISCO Webex & Logitech collaboration

As a part of intelligent video conferencing, Samsung and Cisco solutions will help create smooth video conference experience by automatically switching to optimized mode to minimize lag in video playback, eliminate echo and solve lip-syncing issues. Besides smart operation of displays using Cisco codec, Samsung also makes use of its Flip  and Cisco Room Kit Mini to share and source content from multiple connected devices for smooth video conferencing, clear audio and details picture quality. Webex on Flip will be available in 55-inch and 65-inch screen sizes.

In addition, Samsung and Logitech results in latter’s cameras being pairing with Samsung displays. The camera list includes Brio, C930e, C925e and others.
