Solar Eclipse June 2021 Live Stream on Youtube and Facebook: The much-awaited Ring of Fire annular solar eclipse will soon be visible to people who live in parts of Canada, Greenland, and northern Russia. In fact, in the calendar of celestial events, June 10, 2021 is a very special date. A rare solar eclipse called the annular or ring solar eclipse will soon be visible in some parts of the world. Around the same time, a partial solar eclipse will be observed in other parts of the world. What’s interesting about this event is that they both will occur minutes apart from each other and will take place in just an hour's time.

For the uninitiated, a solar eclipse happens when the Moon moves between the Sun and Earth, casting a shadow on Earth, fully or partially blocking the Sun’s light. In the case of an annular eclipse such as this one, the Moon will be far enough away from Earth that it appears smaller than the Sun in the sky. Since the Moon does not block the entire view of the Sun, it will look like a dark disk on top of a larger, bright disk. This creates what looks like a ring of fire around the Moon, hence the name.

NASA says that the Ring of Fire annular solar eclipse will be visible to people in parts of Canada, Greenland, and northern Russia.

In the parts where the annular solar eclipse will not be visible, people will experience a partial solar eclipse instead. When this happens, the Sun, Moon, and Earth will not be lined up partially. The Sun will appear to have a dark shadow on only part of its surface. NASA says that this partial solar eclipse will be visible to people in parts of the eastern United States and northern Alaska along with much of Canada and parts of the Caribbean, Europe, Asia, and northern Africa. This means that if you are living in India, you will only see the partial solar eclipse.
