Huawei has had a rough year mostly because of the US decision to ban Chinese products and cutting down their services for China. However, this has not stopped the tech company from launching new smartphones and laptops. Continuing the pace, the company is now said to launch its desktop PCs and laptops powered by the Kirin processor, which until now has only been there in Huawei smartphones.

The US ban may have indirectly forced Huawei to work on its own silicon for PCs and laptops. So, the company seems to have modified the Kirin chipset for the large screen products.

Not sure which
laptop to buy?

Although, none of this has been confirmed by Huawei, a tipster on Chinese microblogging website, Weibo posted a shot of the upcoming Huawei notebook's retail box, revealing some key specs.

The laptop will be powered by Kirin 990 processor, along with 8GB of RAM, 512GB of SSD storage and will include a 14-inch full-HD display. In addition, the laptop seems to run on a Linux-based Deepin OS 20. However, the company already has its HarmonyOS available and at some point will transition to it.

The laptop right now is named Qingyun L410 and is said to be the more affordable version of the premium MateBook 14. We might also expect this device to support 5G connectivity since the Kirin 990 already has an integrated 5G modem.

It is not for sure when this laptop will be launched. But rest assured, it will be coming to China markets, before launching somewhere else.
