Gionee F8 Neo budget smartphone launched in India
Gionee F8 Neo doesn't have a fingerprint sensor but it offers face unlock for security.
Gionee has launched a new budget smartphone in India. Gionee F8 Neo comes with an HD+ display, 8-megapixel rear camera, and a Unisoc chipset under the hood.
Gionee F8 Neo comes in only one variant which is priced at ₹5,499. The smartphone has three colour options of black, blue and red. Gionee has partnered with local retail network Udaan to sell its F8 Neo smartphone which will be available through two lakh retailers.
In terms of design, Gionee F8 Neo looks quite dated. There's no notched display on the budget Gionee phone. It has thick bezels on top and bottom, and the phone doesn't have a fingerprint sensor but it comes with face unlock. The smartphone features a 5.45-inch HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Unisoc SC9863 processor. Gionee F8 Neo also supports expandable storage via a microSD card.

It has an 8-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash. Gionee F8 Neo sports a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies. The smartphone has camera features like slow motion video recording, beauty mode, and night mode. Gionee F8 Neo packs a 4,000mAh battery, and it comes with 4G LTE, micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Gionee recently made its comeback in India with the launch of Gionee Max. Priced at ₹5,999, Gionee Max comes with a 6.1-inch HD+ display, 2GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel rear sensor, and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The smartphone also packs a 5,000mAh battery.
