Nokia 6300 4G, 8000 4G feature phones launched with Google Assistant & WhatsApp

One of the highlights of both these candy bar feature phones are that they support Google Assistant. They also have WhatsApp instant messenger and can act as a Wi-Fi hotspot.

HMD has introduced two new feature phones, Nokia 6300 4G and Nokia 8000 4Gin select markets around the globe. While the 6300 4G is available for a global average retail price of 49 EUR (roughly ₹4,300), the 8000 4G feature phone comes at 79 EUR (roughly ₹6,900). You can get the 6300 4G in Cyan Green, Light Charcoal and Powder White, and 8000 4G in Onyx, Opal, Citrine and Topaz colour models.

One of the highlights of both these candy bar feature phones are that they support Google Assistant. They also have WhatsApp instant messenger and can act as a Wi-Fi hotspot. Running KaiOS, the handsets have access to several apps including Facebook, YouTube and Google Maps via the KaiStore.

Nokia 6300 4G is inspired by the original Nokia 6300 and comes in both single and dual SIM versions. It runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor along with 512MB RAM and 4GB ROM, which can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. There's a 2.4-inch QVGA screen, VGA rear camera, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm headphone jack and a micro USB port. It supports FM Radio as well. Backing up the feature phone is a 1500mhAh battery.

Nokia 8000 4G has a glass-like shell with a metalised chrome midframe finish. Like 6300 4G, this also comes in single SIM and dual SIM variants and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor. It has the same RAM, storage setup and the screen size. However, instead of a VGA rear camera, this has a 2-megapixel sensor. Battery also stays the same at 1500mAh.
