Poco M3 key specifications revealed: 6000mAh battery, SD 662, and 6.53-inch display

Poco will unveil Poco M3 budget smartphone tomorrow. With just less than to go for the official launch, Poco has confirmed key specs of the phone.

Poco on Monday revealed some of the key specifications of its upcoming Poco M3, which is scheduled to launch on November 24. According to Poco, Poco M3 will come with a 6,000mAh battery and run on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 662 processor.

Apart from the chipset and a brief glimpse of the design, Poco has confirmed Poco M3 comes with a 6.53-inch display with a waterdrop-like notch on the front. Another official teaser reveals the phone has a triple camera setup stacked in a square-like camera module on the back.

The official teasers and specs are in line with the recently leaked renders of the phone. According to reliable leakster Ishan Agarwal, Poco M3 has a textured back panel with a relatively larger wide camera array. The phone is seen in bright grey and blue colours.

According to the leakster, Poco M3 comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Reports reveal that the upcoming Poco phone will have 4GB of RAM. It is said to come with Android 10-based MIUI 12 out-of-the-box.

The triple rear camera setup is rumoured to feature a 48-megapixel primary sensor. For selfies, Poco M3 could offer an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The 6,000mAh battery will be coupled with 18W fast charging.

Poco currently offers Poco M2 and M2 Pro in the M-series lineup. Poco M2 is available for a starting price of 10,999. The M2 Pro is available for a starting price of 13,999. Both the phones are available online through Flipkart.

As of now, there is no word on the price of Poco M3, but it is likely to stay under 15,000 in India.
