Realme GT 5G’s Geekbench listing reveals 12GB RAM, Android 11
Realme GT 5G will launch on March 4. Here is what we know about the upcoming smartphone so far.
Realme is building hype around its upcoming premium phone, Realme GT, through a series of official teasers. The company has also revealed some of the features of the phone. Besides teasers, Realme GT has also made early appearances in the form of leaks. The latest in the series is a Geekbench listing that sheds more light on the specs. There is also a leaked retail box doing the rounds.
On the Geekbench, the smartphone is seen with model number RMX2202. The listing reveals the smartphone has Snapdragon 888, Qualcomm’s top-end chipset. It is also seen with Android 11 and 12GB of RAM. As far as benchmark scores go, Realme GT bagged 1138 single-core and 3572 multi-core scores.
The alleged Realme GT retail box shows it is identical to the packaging of Realme X7 Pro. If the live image is believed, the phone will also be available in the black colour option.
Realme GT 5G will debut on March 4. Realme is also said to be working on a MediaTek version of the phone as part of its “Dual Platform-Dual Flagship” strategy.
The smartphone will come with a Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. According to reports, Realme GT will be priced under RMB 2,999 ( ₹34,000). Realme is also making some design changes to the phone. Rumours suggest the phone will have Ford GT cars-inspired design. It is said to be a combination of black and yellow colours with a dual-tone vegan leather design.
Reports further claim the phone will also come with a stainless-steel VC cooling mechanism. It is likely to help significantly improve the heat dissipation performance of the phone.
According to older rumours, Realme GT will come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone will most likely launch with Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11. The phone will reportedly sport a quad-camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an ultra-wide-angle lens, a depth sensor and a macro sensor.
