Realme GT confirmed to feature 120Hz AMOLED display
Realme GT is the company's upcoming flagship phone with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor.
Realme GT is scheduled to make its debut on March 4. The flagship smartphone from Realme was unveiled earlier this week at MWC 2021. Ahead of its launch, Realme has teased another feature of its upcoming phone.
Realme GT will feature a Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate confirming past leaks. This was first spotted by tipster Mukul Sharma. Realme had also teased the pricing of its smartphone to cost under RMB 2,999 which is roughly ₹34,000. Realme GT is confirmed to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 processor. The company has also taken inspiration from Ford’s GT cars for the phone’s design. It has a combination of black and yellow colours with a dual tone vegan leather design.
Realme GT will feature a stainless steel VC cooling system which is said to improve the phone’s heat dissipation performance by applying stainless steel in the cooling system and optimising the heat dissipation structure. Realme is also adoption a “Dual Platform-Dual Flagship” strategy wherein they’ll adopt both the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 series and MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity series 5G platform, and will launch two flagship series.
As for the rest of the specs, Realme GT is rumoured to come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone will most likely launch with Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11. It could also sport a quad-camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an ultra wide angle lens, a depth sensor and a macro sensor.
