Samsung will soon launch a new smartphone under its Galaxy A-series. Dubbed as Galaxy A72, the smartphone has appeared in multiple leaks in the last few weeks. Now, Samsung Galaxy A72 has made an appearance on the Geekbench benchmarking website, revealing a few features of the phone.

It is worth noting that the 4G version of Samsung Galaxy A72 has arrived on the benchmarking website. The listing reveals the 4G version of the phone runs Android 11 out-of-the-box. The phone comes with 8GB of RAM and runs Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor. It is the same chipset that powers the Samsung Galaxy A52 4G.

As far as benchmark scores go, Samsung Galaxy A72 4G has bagged 549 single-core points. On the multi-core test, it bagged 1637 points.

The listing does not reveal any other important specifications of the phone. According to older reports, Samsung Galaxy A72, the 5G version, will come with a quad-camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor. It will be accompanied by a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens, a 5-megapixel macro sensor and a 5-megapixel depth sensor.

Samsung Galaxy A72 is said to come with a punch-hole camera, and a glass back and an aluminium frame. There's also a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C port, and a speaker grille at the bottom, akin to Samsung's other Galaxy phones. The phone is rumoured to come with a 6.7-inch display.

If reports are to be believed, Samsung's upcoming A-series phone will be priced between Eur 550-600 ( 49,350- 54,000, approximately).
