Samsung just TROLLED Apple for iPhone 14! Says innovation NOT coming to an iPhone near you
Samsung has once again trolled Apple for the upcoming iPhone 14 via a new advertisement. Check out this hilarious ad.
Samsung loves to troll Apple for its iPhones! Over the years, we have grown up watching some of the funniest adverts taking on the iPhones of the previous years. From trolling the lack of the headphone jack to the infamous notch on the iPhone X, Samsung has never spared any chance to show how its Galaxy smartphones are simply superior. This year, Samsung is back at it again but right before Apple takes off the cover from its rumoured iPhone 14. In a hilarious new advertisement released on YouTube, Samsung boldly says – the innovation is not coming to an iPhone near you. Wow!
The 30 second advertisement basically showcases the superiority of the Galaxy S22 Ultra and the Galaxy Z Flip 4 in comparison to the upcoming iPhone 14 Pro. Samsung even went ahead to use a teaser image from Apple's invite and blows away an iPhone silhouette. The advert talks about the 108MP resolution main camera on the Galaxy S22 Ultra and its Moon shot feature made possible by the 100X Space Zoom. It even talks about the Galaxy Z Flip 4. But the narration is what makes it hilarious.
Samsung trolls Apple again for iPhone 14
The advertisement, titled “Buckle up” takes a subtle dig at the “revolutionary” announcements Apple usually makes at every launch event.
"As you enter a world where heads will turn, just none in your direction," says Samsung while showing off the S22 Ultra. The ad even goes on to make statements such as – "the highest resolution in a smartphone will be in someone else's pocket. And that epic moon shot that's getting all the likes won't be yours." Wow, that hits hard, especially for iPhone fans.
However, the most brutal one has to be this statement – "This innovation is not coming soon to an iPhone near you." Ouch!
This isn't the first time Samsung takes a dig at Apple. But this advertisement has been the most ferocious one from Samsung in a long while, beating even the one that teased the notch.
It now remains to be seen whether Apple responds to this trolling advertisement. In the past, Apple has kept its lips tight and let the sales figures do the talking – the iPhone keeps on dominating the global smartphone sales charts year after year, while Samsung barely manages to make it into the top 10 even with its budget smartphones.
Did You Know?
In 2016, Apple removed the 3.5mm headphone jack from the iPhone 7 and Samsung spared no chance in trolling Apple for the same. A few years later with the Galaxy S21, Samsung quietly removed it along with the advertisement. The same happened for the “no-charger-in-the-box” policy with Apple's iPhone 12 – Samsung trolled it that year and later removed the charger from the packaging box of the Galaxy S21 series.
