In fact, the accounts of Bimbisara are also quite fictitious. In the movie, Bimbisara is a cold-hearted tyrant who is driven by violence and greed. But things take a turn when he mysteriously travels in time and lands in modern day Hyderabad. Now, what can a monarch do when his kingdom and all his subjects have ceased to exist? If the movie is to be believed, quite a lot.

Apart from Ram, the movie also features stars such as Catherine Tresa, Samyuktha Menon, Prakash Raj and others. The movie has been directed by debutant Mallidi Vasishta. The movie made its theatrical debut on August 5 and has won the hearts of both the critics and the audience. In its two month run, the movie has grossed a total of Rs. 64 crores approximately and has been declared a commercial success.
