Amazfit GTS 2 Mini gets support for Alexa in India
The Amafit GTS 2 Mini costs ₹6,999 in India.
Amazfit launched the Amazfit GTS 2 Mini in India back in December last year. Now, a little over two weeks later, the company has released support for Amazon's virtual assistant, Alexa, to its smartwatch.
This new feature enables users to play music, set alarms, provide weather forecast, traffic updates, sports updates, and other real-time information using Amazon Alexa. Using this feature on the Amazfit GTS 2 Mini is really simple. All users need to do is update their smartwatches.
Here's how you can install Alexa on your smartwatch:
Step 1: Pair Amazfit GTS 2 Mini and connect it via Bluetooth with your phone.
Step 2: Open Zepp application, click on profile, select Amazfit GTS 2 Mini.
Step 3: Update the system to version 1.0.2.31.
Step 4: On the watch home screen, swipe left.
Step 5: Tap “Authorize Alexa on the device page of the app”.
Step 6: Open Zepp application, click on profile, click on add accounts.
Step 7: Click on “Amazon Alexa”.
Step 8: Log in with your Amazon account.
Once users have followed these steps, all they need to do is summon Alexa as they do in case of Alexa-powered smart speakers and ask her to perform a task.
The Amafit GTS 2 Mini costs ₹6,999 and it is available on both Amazon and on in.amazfit.com.
