Amazfit T-Rex rugged smartwatch teased to launch in June by Amazon India
T-Rex is one of the rugged smartwatches that meets the United States Military Standard certifications.
Huami's Amazfit introduced its T-Rex smartwatch back at CES 2020 conference and is now ready to bring it to India. The wearable device is scheduled to arrive sometime in the second week of June as per reports online. This has been teased on e-commerce website Amazon along with the specifications.
As the name suggests, T-Rex is one of the rugged smartwatches that meets the United States Military Standard certifications. At the time of the launch the company says the smartwatch can survive extreme temperatures as well as salt, alkali, and damp.
The wearable comes with a 1.3-inch AMOLED display with (360x360 pixels) resolution and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. There is a BioTracker PPG optical heart rate sensor with 3-axis accelerator, geomagnetic sensor, and ambient light sensor. The device is said to be backed by a 390mAh battery that is claimed to deliver up to 20-day battery life. Also claimed is that the smartwatch can run for up to 66 days when in basic mode and can charge fully in up to 2 hours.

The rugged T-Rex smartwatch is 5ATM rated, which makes it water resistant up to 50 meters
In addition to this, the Amazfit T-Rex has 14 sports modes and can monitor heart rate, exercise duration among other data. And besides this you get the usual notification features for calls, reminders, Alarm, mobile payment and more.
The smartwatch launched at CNY 799 (roughly Rs. 8,400) in China but it might have a price around that as well.
On the other hand, the Amazfit Bip S will also be going on sale starting June 3 via Amazon, Flipkart, and Myntra.
