Ordered the new Apple headphones? Be ready to wait till March next year for delivery
In India, if you have ordered yourself the AirPods Max, there are chances that certain colour models may reach you till March next year.
If you are too hyped about the new Apple headphones, the AirPods Max and have ordered it right away to get your hands on this piece of premium hardware, you might have to wait for quiet a bit before they sit on your head. That's because the new headphones are witnessing delays that aren't limited to days but weeks and in some cases, couple of months.
In India, if you have ordered yourself the AirPods Max, there are chances that certain colour models may reach you till March next year.
In India, while the Silver and Red colour model is showing delivery in next couple of weeks, the Black colour variant's delivery date is reaching up to first week of January. For Green and Sky Blue models, the delivery date shows '12-14 weeks', which means March first week. So, if you have ordered the Green and Sky Blue models, unfortunately, you will have to wait for 2 months for sure.

The ₹59,900 headphone also support magnetic ear cushions, which you can buy separately for ₹6,500 or $69 in the US. Fortunately, you may not need these replacements immediately as the headphones do come with magnetic ear cushions inside the box. The AirPods Max ear cushions comes in all five colours, matching with the colour scheme of the headphones – Silver, Black, Green, Sky Blue and Red.
The new AirPods Max headphone don't come with a charger inside the box. This is a part of Apple's move to become a Carbon-free company in the next few years. During the launch of iPhone 12, it did announce that going forward, all the iPhones retail boxes will miss out on the charger and earpods.
