Panasonic launches 21 new washing machines in India starting at ₹17,100

Panasonic on Wednesday launched a new range of washing machines in India. Panasonic’s new range of washing machines consists of a total of 21 fully-automatic top-load models ranging between a capacity of 6.5 Kgs and 8Kgs. The newly launched washing machines come at a starting price of ₹17,100 and they are available at all Panasonic brand stores, large format stores and Amazon India.

As far as the features are concerned, these models come with a 5-star rating. Select models in Panasonic’s new range of washing machines feature a flexible two-way washing technology with an in-built heater that gives clothes a hot wash. Panasonic says that this technique kills 99.9% germ in the clothes.

Both the front and the back panel of the newly launched washing machines feature a durable design comprising of soft closures. They also feature extending energy and water efficiency. In addition to that, the new range of washing machines come with in-built eco-friendly solutions like aqua spin rinse, which the company claims saves up to 28% of water, and econavi technology, which Panasonic says helps in saving 20% water and up to 20% electricity.

Apart from this, the newly launched range of washing machines reuse up to 23% water by detecting wash load volume and water temperature.

"Our new range of top-load automatic washing machines leverages Panasonic’s proprietary technologies to sanitize clothes through its in-built heater while ensuring better energy efficiency for a 99.9% germ-free washing experience. We are looking at a double-digit market share by the end of FY21,” Harshal Soman, Head - Home Appliance Business, Panasonic India said on the occasion.
