Transformers Devastation
Fans of this franchise have been waiting for a great game for a while now. And PlatinumGames hopes to deliver on their expectations with its latest offering. High on nostalgia, Transformers Devastation mixes cartoon-inspired art style of the classic '80s TV show with modern animation techniques.

Assassin's Creed Syndicate: Its last title, Unity, received a mixed response, and Ubisoft is looking to set things right with its latest instalment. This title also marks several firsts in the franchise. A female protagonist enters the main series, a transgender character also debuts, and a player can now freely switch between two different leads.

The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes: The latest offering in this cult video game series has more dungeons, monsters and puzzles to challenge players, even as three heroes battle bosses over 32 levels.

Halo 5: Guardians: This shooter game has been described by game developer 343 Industries and Microsoft Studios as "the most visually stunning Halo game ever". The highlight is a conflict between Master Chief and Spartan agent Locke.

And though the PC release has been pushed to 2016, players are waiting to get their hands on this title by Electronic Arts (EA) that takes you into the world of sleek cars, high-speed car chases, role playing, and a whole lot more.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III: Set in 2065, 40 years after the events that transpire in its predecessor, the game follows a team of black ops with supersoldier capabilities. Recently, Activision announced that the title will be available on older hardware, like PS3 and Xbox 360, though with some feature cuts (read: no campaign mode).

Fallout 4: Set in a post-apocalyptic Boston (USA), 200 years after a nuclear war, this is the first new entry to the role-playing series since New Vegas. Players get a whopping 70 perks, while the game features over 50 base weapons and over 700 mods.

Rise of the Tomb Raider: The popularity of this franchise never seems to fade, despite 10 games and a couple of spin-offs. The latest offering takes the protagonist on a journey to Siberia to find Kitezh, an ancient city founded in the 13th century, and believed to contain the key to immortality. There will be more tombs to raid, dangerous creatures to encounter, and booby traps to avoid.

Star Wars Battlefront: EA's multiplayer shooter, with Luke Skywalker, Boba Fett and Darth Vader, borrows all the best battles from the iconic Star Wars movies. And then adds a few new scenarios to the mix, such as the battle of Jakku. The co-op missions can be played offline (with bots) or online with friends.
