Google Pixel 3a leaks in faint lavender colour

Ahead of the official unveiling at the Google I/O 2019, the Pixel 3a continues to show up in leaks. In the latest, a somewhat purple coloured variant of the mid-range smartphone has been spotted online.

Serial tipster Evan Blass tweeted a picture of the Google Pixel 3a in a colour that has purple undertones. It features a yellow button on the side. The latest colour adds to the previously leaked black and white variants. The flagship Pixel 3 series comes in three colour options of 'Clearly White', 'Just Black' and 'Not Pink'.

In terms of design, it appears Google will retain the dated design as seen on Pixel 3. There's no presence of notch on the Pixel 3a's display which is instead bordered by thick bezels.

The Pixel 3a is going to be Google's budget offering. Google Pixel 3a is expected to feature a 5.6-inch display with 1080 x 2220 pixels resolution and screen density (DPI) of 440. The bigger Pixel 3a XL could come with a 6-inch display with 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution and 400 DPI.

Google Pixel 3a series is said to launch with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 670 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. On the software front, the Pixel 3a phones will launch with Android 9 Pie out -of-the-box. For photography, Google Pixel 3a will most likely sport a 12-megapixel rear camera. More features on the Pixel 3a series include a 3,000mAh battery and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
