Monday kicked off with a few smartphone-based news. Samsung managed to grab a lot headlines today not only because of consumer products but also production moving to India and more. Huawei, Oppo, ZTE and others were in the news for their handset innovation which they are about to bring.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 3, Galaxy Buds Live launched in India, check prices, top features

Galaxy Watch 3 41mm is priced at  ₹29,990 and Rs 34,490 for the Bluetooth and 4G variants respectively. Galaxy Watch 3 45mm starts at Rs 32,990 for the Bluetooth variant and Rs 38,990 for the 4G variant. Galaxy Buds Live will be available in Mystic Bronze, Mystic Black and Mystic White colours at a price of Rs 14,990.

Apple iPhone 12 camera upgrade could bring Google Pixel 4’s marquee feature, but better

Apple’s iPhone 12 will have a new Time of Flight (ToF) camera sensor to deliver the said all-around enhancements. According to a patent bagged by Apple, the upgraded ToF camera will help capture up to 4x the data compared to the current and older technologies such as 3D scanning.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 gets listed on Amazon India, to launch soon

The page on the e-commerce website currently states ‘Notify me’ option but it is only a matter of time before the prices and availability details are unveiled. For those unaware, in the US, the product is priced at $650, which is roughly Rs 48,600. It is also not for sure of the Tab S7+ will be launched in India or not.

Apple expands its independent repair shop program to Mac computers

Apple Inc said on Monday it had expanded a program that provides parts and training to independent repair shops to cover its Mac computers. Apple initially launched the program last year, but it only covered iPhones, the company's biggest-selling product. Mac users previously either had to use Apple or an authorized warrant service provider to get fixes with parts directly from Apple.

ZTE Axon 20 5G to feature in-display camera, launch on September 1

ZTE has announced that it will be launching the ZTE Axon 20 5G on September 1. his is said to be the first mass produced smartphone in the world to feature an in-display camera. We have seen the concept by other brands but it looks like ZTE is finally making it a reality. The pricing and availability will only be known once the device is out on September 1.

iQoo 5, iQoo 5 Pro launched: Check price, specs here

Vivo’s sub-brand, iQoo on Monday launched the iQoo 5 and the iQoo 5 Pro smartphones in China. The two newly launched smartphones are the successors to the iQoo 3 series smartphones that were launched last year and they come loaded with high-end specifications including the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor and a 120Hz display.

Oppo Reno4 5G Artist Limited Edition launched

This new colour option is designed by the popular visual artist James Jean and is called as Reno4 Pro 5G Artist Limited Edition. Since all of the front is screen, the visual change is seen at the back. On the software side of things, the Reno4 Pro 5G Artist Limited Edition includes two customised themes but these are only limited to China right now.

Samsung likely to move a major part of its smartphone production to India

Reports state that Samsung is planning to shift its smartphone production from Vietnam and other countries to India and manufacture smartphones worth $40 billion. It was added that the company is planning to diversify its production lines for making smartphones to India taking advantage of the government’s PLI scheme.

Future Huawei phones may feature all-screen fingerprint sensor, in-display camera

Huawei is not just working on an all screen fingerprint display, which is not really seen in any mass-produced smartphone for now, but is also working to make it coexist with in-screen cameras. “We are working to make it [all-screen fingerprint – ed] co-exist with in-display selfie cameras,” says Huawei in an emailed response to Android Authority.
