Xiaomi RedmiBook 14 to launch in India next month: Report
New leak suggests Xiaomi's laptop debut in India could happen next month itself.
Xiaomi's laptops are expected to make their debut in India this year. A new leak now suggests the RedmiBook 14 will launch in India in June.
This new leak comes from SlashLeaks (via BGR India) which claims that someone from Xiaomi confirmed the launch. The page for this particular leak has however been taken down. Now there's no confirmation on whether this claim is actually true or not.
Xiaomi launched the RedmiBook 14 in China last year, and it's priced at CNY 3,999 ( ₹42,800 approx) for the base model. The laptop's design is inspired from Apple's MacBook and it's also light weighing 1.5 kg.

In terms of specs, RedmiBook 14 features a 14-inch display. The laptop is powered by Intel Core i5 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD storage. RedmiBook 14 also comes with NVIDIA's MX250 graphics card. There are more models with Intel Core i7 and 512GB SSD storage as well.
On the software front, it runs Windows 10 and comes with Microsoft Office pre-installed. The laptop is claimed to offer 10 hours of battery life. It also has a built-in cooling system.
With the RedmiBook 14, Xiaomi would be entering the laptop market in India which already has brands like Asus, Dell and Lenovo. It won't be surprising though if it does launch the RedmiBook 14 as Xiaomi appears to venture out more this year. It recently launched the flagship Mi 10 phone in India which is also its most expensive so far.
