We have long known that the iPhone 14 series is getting a new member this year, called the iPhone 14 Max that will replace the “Mini” variant. We know that this phone will bring the same kind of a massive 6.7-inch display that we have seen on iPhone 13 Pro Max. Now, there's new leak that suggests the iPhone 14 Max could be an all new phone in many ays than just being a stripped-down iPhone 13 Pro Max. Take a look.

The leaked information comes from Twitter user @Shadow_Leak, who shares some details and specs about the iPhone 14 Max. Note that this is unverified information and until Apple reveals anything on this front, you should refrain form believing it blindly. iPhone 14 Max to bring some mega upgrades

The tipster claims that the iPhone 14 Max will retain the A15 Bionic chip from the iPhone 13 range along with the iPhone 14. The newer A16 Bionic chip will be reserved for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max variants. However, its is said that the iPhone 14 Max will have 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM, the same capacity as the Pro iPhones.

Nest, it is time for the cameras. The iPhone 14 Max will have a dual camera setup on the rear, consisting of a 12MP main camera and a 12MP ultra-wide camera. There is still no information on the front camera but it will sit inside the iPhone 13-style notch.

The display will get an upgrade too. No, we aren't talking about its new 6.68-inch dimension. Instead, Apple will use a 90Hz high refresh rate OLED display with a resolution of 2778 x 1284 pixels. This will be a big deal considering the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini still offer a slower 60Hz display. It remains to be seen how well optimised is the 90Hz display in comparison the 120Hz ProMotion displays on the Pro variants.

Lastly, the tipster says that this bigger iPhone 14 Max will starts at a price of $899 for its 128GB storage option. This will make it an affordable way to get the biggest display size with going above the $1000 mark. Will all this trickle down to the iPhone 14 as well? We will have to wait and find out.
