MIUI 13 coming to these Xiaomi, Redmi smartphones FIRST, Check list
The MIUI 13 update is coming first to several Xiaomi and Redmi devices launched in 2021. Check the list.
Xiaomi has taken the wraps off MIUI 13 in China and while the global version of the same is yet to come out, Xiaomi has released a list of all the devices ready to get the MIUI 13 update in China. As expected, the MIUI 13 update will be coming to high-end Xiaomi smartphone first, followed by the more affordable Xiaomi and Redmi devices.
The MIUI 13 update will be eventually coming to Xiaomi tablets, in the form of MIUI 13 Pad. Other Xiaomi devices such as Smart TV, smartwatches, and IoT devices will also be getting the new MIUI 13 update. There's no revelation on whether the MIUI 13 update is based on Android 12 or Android 11 on these devices.

Xiaomi Mi 11 series:
Xiaomi Mi 11, Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, Xiaomi Mi 11i, Xiaomi Mi 11X Pro, Xiaomi Mi 11X, Xiaomi 11T Pro, Xiaomi 11T, Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite, Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G, Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE, Xiaomi 11 Lite NE, Xiaomi Pad 5.
Redmi devices: Redmi 10, Redmi 10 Prime, Redmi Note 8 (2021), Redmi Note 10 Pro, Redmi Note 10 Pro Max, Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10 JE.
The list of devices was shared on the Xiaomi community and spotted by GSMArena. Note that the recently announced Xiaomi 12 series, which includes the Xiaomi 12X, Xiaomi 12, and Xiaomi 12 Pro, comes with MIUI 13 pre-installed.
MIUI 13 is more of a major visual update and brings in some additional privacy boost features. Users can expect to see new rounded widgets, animated wallpapers, and tweaked UI all around.
That said, the global version of MIUI 13 could be different from the Chinese version. The global version of MIUI 13 has to consider the Google Play framework as well as couple of feature from the Android 12.
