Samsung to launch Galaxy F series smartphones in India this month

Samsung is planning to launch a new smartphone series in India soon. Reports hint towards the Korean electronics giant launching the Galaxy F series smartphones in India later this month.

As per a report by 91 Mobiles, the Galaxy F series smartphones will be priced between ₹15,000 to ₹20,000 and focus on the camera. The first smartphone in the Galaxy F lineup is expected to be launched by September end and it will be available via online retail channels only. Samsung, however, could make the phone available via offline channels later as it did in the case of its Galaxy M series smartphones.

Samsung's Galaxy M series smartphones already cater to the users who are looking for a power performer in the sub- ₹20,000 price category. The series since its launch has established a strong presence in the budget smartphone segment. The launch of the Galaxy F-series smartphones is expected to help the company strengthen its position in the budget smartphone segment further.

It will also help the company to better compete with the likes of Realme, Xiaomi, and Poco that have a strong presence in the budget smartphone segment with smartphones that offer a power-packed performance.
