Poco M2 launched in India at a starting price of ₹10,999: Specs, price and more

Poco, a day after introducing Poco X3 globally, has launched the Poco M2 in India. The company is pitching this handset as the most affordable one with 6GB RAM in the country. Poco M2’s 6GB+64GB model and 6GB+128GB model will be priced at ₹10,999 and ₹12,499 respectively. Customers will also be able to avail additional ₹750 instant discount when buying through ICICI (credit cards or debit card EMIs) and Federal Bank (debit cards). You can get the device in Slate Blue, Pitch Black and Brick Red colour variants starting 15 September at 12PM noon via Flipkart.
Poco M2 specifications
The Poco M2 features a 6.53-inch FHD+ (2340x1080 pixels) display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The display is said to be reading mode certified by TÜV Rheinland. Backed by MediaTek Helio G80 octa-core processor, the M2 is claimed to deliver a balanced yet consistent performance for gamers.
There’s a fingerprint sensor at the back of the device. You also get rear cameras including a 13MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide sensor with 118-degree field of view, 5MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. Selfie lovers get a 8MP sensor at the front with Night Mode. There’s also a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging (10W charger in box) to ensure long hours of battery backup.
Running Android 10-based MIUI 11, the Poco M2 also comes with an AI face unlock tech. The phone has P2i’s nano-coating, which makes it resistant to accidental splashes.
