Upcoming iQoo Z3 could be that affordable smartphone with all the frills, prices tipped before launch

According to a tipster, the prices for the upcoming iQoo Z3 might start from 19,990.

The iQoo Z3 is scheduled to be launched on June 8 and that’s when we will get to know all about its specs and prices in detail. However, with just days to go, the prices of the iQoo Z3 have been tipped. The new iQoo smartphones are expected to be launched in three variants with the top-of-the-line device expected to be priced at 23,990. The iQoo Z3 was launched in China in March this year and is finally making its way to India now. The smartphone comes with a triple camera set-up on the back, a waterdrop-tyle display, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G SoC under the hood, and a 120Hz refresh rate.

A tipster by the name of Debayan Roy who tweets from the @Gadgetsdata handle, has shared the pricing details of the iQoo Z3 devices. According to him, the prices for the iQoo Z3 are going to start at 19,990 or 20,990 for the base model that’s going to come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage. There is also going to be a variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage and this is expected to be priced at 21,990. The top-of-the-line iQoo Z3 with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, according to this tipster, should be priced at 23,990. With prices like these, the iQoo Z3 is going to be taking on the Xiaomi Mi 10i that’s priced from 20,999 onwards.

The iQoo Z3 was launched in China earlier this year at a starting price of CNY 1,699 ( 19,400 approx) for the 6GB/128GB variant. It is also available in the Chinese market in an 8GB/128GB storage model at CNY 1,799 ( 20,600 approx), and an 8GB/256GB variant at CNY 1,999 ( 22,900 approx). These prices are pretty similar to the ones that have been tipped. The phone was also available in three colour options in China, it remains to be seen if iQoo brings in all three options to India.

On the specs front, the iQoo Z3 comes with dual-SIM support and runs Android 11 with OriginOS for iQoo 1.0 on top. The device sports a 6.58-inch full HD+ (1,080 x 2,408 pixels) display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The iQoo Z3 is powered by the Snapdragon 768 SoC. There are three cameras on the back including a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide shooter and a 2MP sensor with an f/2.4 lens. On the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera. There is a 4,400mAh battery with 55W fast charge support for power and for security, the iQoo Z3 comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
