Google rolls out Android 13, Samsung, Asus, Oppo, Vivo get update; is your phone on list?

Just a couple of days ago, Google made a big announcement about Google Pixel 7, Google Pixel Watch, Google Pixel 6a and more. Well, among these major revelations, Google also unveiled the next generation Google OS Android 13. Soon after its announcement, several Google smartphones started getting the latest update. Android 13: What new features does it offer?

The Android 13 update includes a new permission setting that allows you to manage which apps send you notifications. It includes better permission settings for partnering with nearby devices. It contains all-new 'Material You' design language components, which let you match app icon colours to themes and choose pre-app text, among other things. It also comes with better controls for privacy and security. For example, with Android 13, you will be able to choose between ‘Photos and Videos’ and ‘Music and Audio’ when an app asks you for permission to access files. Earlier it was limited to ‘Files and media’ which used to give access to whole internal storage.

Not just for smartphones, but for tablets, Android 13 brings more multitasking options. This comes with a new updated taskbar through which you can easily switch between apps as well as can use two apps side-by-side in a split-screen view. Users can also drop any app from the library onto the home screen according to yourself.
