Google Calendar users can now create and view tasks on their mobile app. The feature is available for both Android and iOS users. The integration comes months after Google added Tasks support in the Calendar on the web.
Google has already begun rolling out the feature for iOS and Android users. In case you have not got the feature yet, it should be available within two weeks. The feature will also be available to all G Suite customers and users with personal Google Accounts.
In case you did not know, Google had launched Tasks as a standalone task management app in 2018. The application allows users to create and manage their tasks. It also gives the option to further break down tasks into subtasks. The application comes with an easy-to-use drag-and-drop interface for prioritising tasks, similar to Trello. It also comes with an option to add a deadline to set up a reminder for the task. Google’s Tasks is also integrated into Gmail on the web.
