Carl Pei’s Nothing to launch Ear (1) wireless earphones in India via Flipkart
Nothing Ear (1)’s India launch will happen alongside the device’s global launch.
'Nothing' is all set to launch Ear (1) wireless earphones in India and it is hoping to make a substantial impact from it. Carl Pei, back in May this year, had showcased the first product that his company, called ‘Nothing', would be launching. At the time, the OnePlus founder had said Nothing's first product will be Ear (1) wireless earphones and that they would launch in June this year. Now, the launch has been confirmed. However, Nothing has been quite chary about one thing and that is, revealing the price. Yes, that is right, it has said nothing about it.
The company has also confirmed that it is partnering with Flipkart to bring the first device in its product portfolio to India. “At Nothing, we aim to create easy to use consumer tech products with iconic designs that will bring differentiated value to our users in India and around the world,” Manu Sharma, Vice President and General Manager, Nothing India said making the announcement.
“For the upcoming launch of Ear (1), we are excited to partner with Flipkart as we mark Nothing's entry in India. Flipkart's pan-India supply chain will be instrumental in reaching Nothing customers and delivering a superior end-to-end product experience, which is very important to us,” Sharma added.
Interestingly, Nothing Ear (1)'s India launch will happen alongside the device's global launch.
The announcement comes shortly after the company announced a partnership with Smartech and Selfridges to bring its debut product, Ear (1), in the United Kingdom wherein it will be available in summer this year.
All said and done, Nothing hasn't shared the exact date as to when it will launch the Nothing Ear (1) wireless earphones in India and in the UK.
We'll keep an eye out for details should the company decide to divulge more details.
